The February 2009 issue of The Four Shires carries some super articles. The story on Dovecotes by Maggie Chaplin is one of the best we have carried. The picture on the front of the magazine features the dovecote at Rousham House.
We also have an article on the Bicester and Whaddon Hunt which met at Fathinghoe recently, The Field of Gallows by Peter Adkins and Valentines traditions by members of the staff.
Other articles include the old favourites, gardening with Columbine, Turning back the Years with Ted Hanson and Pictures from the past which shows a crash on the old Daventry Road, leading out of Banbury.
