Road warning on Banbury Lane!!!
I would like to issue a road warning to all of you that use Banbury lane (towards Thorpe Mandeville and Culworth).
This morning I managed to do a 180 degree spin after hitting, what I can only imagine was black ice! Luckily I was the only one on the road at the time and managed to bring the car to a holt without touching either of the grass verges.
Thankfully I was left un harmed, just a little shaken, nothing that a nice sugary cup of tea couldn't sort out mind.
I would just ask everyone to be cautious when driving down any of the country lanes in The Four Shires as they are seldom grited and most get little to no sunlight, leaving them particularly dangerous in these winter months.
